Home Study Under Our Belt

Well we have successfully finished our three home studies, Now to see if she approves us. I'm to worried. God has already approved us in his plan.Well hopefully today or yesterday Karen Springs has met up with Inna and Katya to deliver our box, pictures and letters we sent over to them. I hope to hear from the girls soon, cause Karen was taking postage to them as well. She is such a blessing to us. Well hopefully I can get all our Dossier stuff together within the next three weeks, and off it will go then it will truly be a waiting game.Everyone please keep us in your prays. As James 1: 1 says I am going to consider this pure joy with the trail I am about to face. I am going to learn that I really do have patience. Well hope everyone is doing well. I will keep everyone posted as soon as I know something. God Bless.

Home Study has Started

Well we had are first of three Home Studies yesterday. Everything went well. The good news is we will have all three under our belts by the end of February. We were able to get a box over to the Ukraine. Thanks to Karen she will be hand delivering to my girls. I am so jealous, but yet so happy they get to have someone like her visit them. We have had just a little set back on one of our required documents my name is spelled wrong, so you know the state system ,we have to write a letter and hurry up and wait. We are off to the Court House on Friday for fingerprints. We are on a mission there is no stopping us now. Keeping the Faith in Williamsburg. Lisa

Good News In Wiliamsburg

Steve and I hosted Inna and Katya for the "Russian Shoemaker" November 21-December 5. We decided before they even got here that we were going to look into adopting them. We had seen a picture of them and they were even more beautiful in person. We had a great time with them here. Life in the Rochard household is just not the same, we feel as though we are missing two of our children. Just to give you a little back ground. Steve and I have three children of our own Keely-9, Samuel-7, and Ayden -4,. We have been married 10 years and always had wanted to adopt. We never thought we would adopt an older child. Now we are looking to adopt two older children. I have learned never to put your child order in with God. God already has it planned for you.I am sure his plan is better than mine. So on the journey we go with open hearts and arms knowing that God is in charge. First, Inna had said when she was here that she did not want to be adopted, she feared the whole language barrier,Katya wanted to be adopted, but of course listened to her sister. We called over to the orphanage last week, and waited a week to hear back weather or not she would reconsider being adopted-today we got the call Inna wants to be adopted and so does Katya they both are very excited. The Rochards are ready for two more so everyone hold on tight here we go on a roller coaster ride. God will make it fun. Keeping the faith in Williamsburg. Lisa
